ADVANCING THE EDUCATION OF YOUNG PERSONS AT SCHOOLS WITHIN THE ISLE OF PURBECK AND SURROUNDING AREA BY MAKING GRANTS TO ASSIST IN THE PROVISION OF MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT [NOT REQUIRED TO BE PROVIDED BY THE LOCAL EDUCATION AUTHORITY] FOR EDUCATION IN THE ARTS AT SAID SCHOOLS.3. ASSISTING ANY CHARITABLE ORGANISATIONS WITH SIMILAR CHARITABLE OBJECTS IN THE ISLE OF PURBECK IN ESTABLISHING AND PROMOTING CONCERTS, DRAMATIC PERFORMANCES, ART AND CRAFT EXHIBITIONS, FLOWER ARRANGING, LECTURES, DISCUSSIONS, WORKSHOPS, DEMONSTRATIONS AND OTHER APPROPRIATE CHARITABLE EDUCATIONAL EVENTS IN ANY BRANCH OF THE ARTS, MAKING SUCH CHARITABLE FUNCTIONS AVAILABLE TO THE PUBLIC. NOTHING IN THIS CONSTITUTION SHALL AUTHORISE AN APPLICATION OF THE PROPERTY OF THE CIO FOR THE PURPOSES WHICH ARE NOT CHARITABLE IN ACCORDANCE WITH [SECTION 7 OF THE CHARITIES AND TRUSTEE INVESTMENT (SCOTLAND) ACT 2005] AND [SECTION 2 OF THE CHARITIES ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 2008]
