3.1 THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO (OBJECTS) ARE, FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC, TO:(A) ADVANCE THE CHRISTIAN FAITH, IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE STATEMENT OF FAITH, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, BY PROVIDING FINANCIAL AND OTHER SUPPORT TO CHRISTIAN CHURCHES TO ASSIST THEIR BIBLICAL TEACHING AND OUTREACH ACTIVITIES; AND(B) ADVANCE SUCH OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSES AS SHALL, IN THE OPINION OF THE CHARITY TRUSTEES, FURTHER THE WORK OF THE CIO BY PUTTING INTO PRACTICE THE CHRISTIAN FAITH, IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE STATEMENT OF FAITH, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION:(I) THE PREVENTION AND RELIEF OF POVERTY BY SUPPORTING, ESTABLISHING AND/OR OPERATING FOODBANKS AND OTHER FOOD RELIEF PROGRAMS; AND(II) THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION BY SUPPORTING, ESTABLISHING AND/OR OPERATING PROGRAMMES, COURSES AND EVENTS WHICH ENABLE THOSE WITH LIMITED FINANCIAL RESOURCES TO ACCESS ACADEMIC AND VOCATIONAL EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIESIN EACH CASE ACROSS THE UNITED KINGDOM AND IN SUCH OTHER PARTS OF THE WORLD AS THE TRUSTEES MAY SEE FIT, WHETHER WORKING INDEPENDENTLY OR IN PARTNERSHIP WITH OTHERS PURSUING SIMILAR OBJECTIVES.
