Charitable objects
THE OBJECTS OF THE CHARITY ARE TO PROMOTE OPHTHALMIC MEDICAL EDUCATION. THE CHARITY WILL PROVIDE GRANTS TO NHS NURSING STAFF AND JUNIOR DOCTORS IN THE ISLE OF WIGHT EYE DEPARTMENT (IOW EYE DEPT) TO ENABLE ACCESS TO TRAINING COURSES AND ACTIVITIES WHICH WILL SERVE TO IMPROVE STANDARDS OF OPHTHALMIC MEDICAL CARE ON THE ISLE OF WIGHT. THE CHARITY WILL SUPPORT LOCAL DEPARTMENTAL RESEARCH ACTIVITIES OF NURSES AND JUNIOR DOCTORS INCLUDING PUBLICATION OF FINDINGS. THE TRUSTEES MUST USE THE INCOME, CAPITAL AND FUNDS OF THE CHARITY IN PROMOTING THE OBJECTS.
