THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE:(1) TO PROMOTE SOCIAL INCLUSION OF ETHNIC LATVIAN INDIVIDUALS IN THE UK,ADDRESSING SOCIAL EXCLUSION LINKED TO THEIR ETHNIC ORIGIN THROUGH ADVICE,INFORMATION SHARING, AND COOPERATION WITH SERVICE PROVIDERS; ORGANISINGCITIZENSHIP SEMINARS, AND OFFERING ENGLISH LANGUAGE COURSES, SPORTS, ANDCOMMUNITY ACTIVITIES FOR THE PUBLIC GOOD.(2) TO PROMOTE SOCIAL INCLUSION BY SUPPORTING LATVIAN CULTURALINTEGRATION, INCLUDING LANGUAGE CLASSES, CULTURAL AWARENESS EVENTS,MULTICULTURAL GATHERINGS, AND LATVIAN CULTURAL EVENTS BENEFITING THEWIDER COMMUNITY.(3) TO EMPOWER LATVIAN INDIVIDUALS IN THE UK FACING SOCIAL EXCLUSION DUETO THEIR ETHNIC BACKGROUND BY PROVIDING ACCESS TO EDUCATION, JOBPLACEMENT ASSISTANCE, CAREER DEVELOPMENT SUPPORT, MENTORSHIP, ANDGUIDANCE FOR PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL GROWTH.NOTHING IN THIS CONSTITUTION SHALL AUTHORISE AN APPLICATION OF THE PROPERTY OF THE CIO FOR THE PURPOSES WHICH ARE NOT CHARITABLE IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 7 OF THECHARITIES AND TRUSTEE INVESTMENT (SCOTLAND) ACT 2005 AND SECTION 2 OF THE CHARITIES ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 2008
