THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS:THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF PARENTS WHOSE CHILDREN ARE STRUGGLING WITH LIFE[1]THREATENING CHALLENGES SUCH AS: ALCOHOL AND DRUG ADDICTION, DEPRESSION AND SUICIDAL IDEATION BY PROVIDING COMPREHENSIVE TRAINING, GUIDANCE, AND ACCESS TO QUALIFIED THERAPISTS IN ORDER TO FOSTER STRONGER, MORE RESILIENT FAMILIES AND IMPROVING THE HEALTH AND WELLBEING OF BOTH THE PARENTS AND CHILDREN IN NEED.NOTHING IN THIS CONSTITUTION SHALL AUTHORISE AN APPLICATION OF THE PROPERTY OF THE CIO FOR THE PURPOSES WHICH ARE NOT CHARITABLE IN ACCORDANCE WITH [SECTION 7 OF THE CHARITIES AND TRUSTEE INVESTMENT (SCOTLAND) ACT 2005] AND [SECTION 2 OF THE CHARITIES ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 2008].
