(A) TO HELP AND EDUCATE YOUNG WOMEN AGED 8-25 YEARS IN THE BOROUGH OF LEWISHAM THROUGH THEIR LEISURE TIME ACTIVITIES SO AS TO DEVELOP THEIR PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND SPIRITUAL CAPACITIES, THAT THEY MAY GROW TO FULL MATURITY AS INDIVIDUALS AND AS MEMBERS OF SOCIETY AND THAT THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE MAY BE IMPROVED.(B) TO EDUCATE AND TRAIN YOUNG WOMEN AGED 8-25 YEARS WHO THROUGH THEIR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES ARE IN NEED AND ARE UNABLE TO GAIN EMPLOYMENT AND FURTHER THEIR EDUCATION.(C) TO PROVIDE EDUCATION, TRAINING, RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES, ADVICE, INFORMATION AND FACILITIES AND TO UNDERTAKE AND ASSIST IN RESEARCH ON THE EDUCATIONAL, TRAINING, RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES, ADVICE AND INFORMATION NEEDS OF YOUNG WOMEN BY MAINTAINING AND DEVELOPING A CENTRE FOR YOUNG WOMEN; TO UNDERTAKE THE WRITING, PRINTING, PUBLISHING AND DISTRIBUTING OF ARTICLES, REPORTS, NEWSLETTERS, BOOKS AND PAMPHLETS, ADVERTISEMENTS, LEAFLETS, POSTERS AND DOCUMENTS, FILMS AND VIDEOS; TO ARRANGING AND PROVIDING BOTH BY ITSELF AND THROUGH OTHER ORGANISATIONS OR INSTITUTIONS, EXHIBITIONS, MEETINGS, LECTURES, SEMINARS AND WORKSHOPS.
