WORKING WITH THE NATIONAL CHURCH INSTITUTIONS AND OTHER PARTS OF THE CHURCH OF ENGLAND IN FURTHERING THE MISSION AND WORK OF MAJOR PARISH CHURCHES. 3. WORKING WITH THE CHURCHES? LEGISLATION ADVISORY SERVICES AND OTHER APPROPRIATE ECUMENICAL BODIES IN FURTHERING THE WORK AND MISSION OF MAJOR PARISH CHURCHES.4. WORKING WITH THE GOVERNMENT AND ITS AGENCIES (NATIONALLY AND LOCALLY) TO REPRESENT THE INTERESTS OF MAJOR PARISH CHURCHES AND TO ACHIEVE AN ENVIRONMENT WHERE MAJOR PARISH CHURCHES ARE ENABLED TO FULFIL THEIR MISSION AND WORK.5. DEBATING AND PROPOSING POLICIES AND OTHER MATTERS AFFECTING MAJOR PARISH CHURCHES, INCLUDING THEIR ROLE IN ADVANCING EDUCATION, COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT, ARTS, CULTURE AND HERITAGE; AND ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AND IMPROVEMENT. ALSO ASSISTING IN DEVELOPING THEIR ROLE IN PROMOTING RELIGIOUS AND RACIAL HARMONY AND EQUALITY AND DIVERSITY. 6. ENCOURAGING AND DEVELOPING THE SHARING OF BEST PRACTICE BETWEEN MAJOR PARISH CHURCHES.
