THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE TO PROMOTE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN GENERAL ABOUT ISRAEL BY:(1) AWARDING SCHOLARSHIPS AND MAKING GRANTS TO STUDENTS AND OTHERS;(2) PUBLISHING AND COMMISSIONING THE WRITING OF BOOKS, PAMPHLETS AND JOURNALS(3) ORGANISING LECTURES, CLASSES, DISCUSSIONS, EXHIBITIONS AND MEETINGS AND ESTABLISHING CENTRES FOR THE FOREGOING PURPOSES; AND(4) CO-OPERATING WITH AND MAKING GRANTS TO OTHER BODIES HAVING EXCLUSIVELY KINDRED CHARITABLE OBJECTIVES.NOTHING IN THIS CONSTITUTION SHALL AUTHORISE AN APPLICATION OF THE PROPERTY OF THE CIO FOR THE PURPOSES WHICH ARE NOT CHARITABLE IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 7 OF THE CHARITIES AND TRUSTEE INVESTMENT (SCOTLAND)ACT 2005 AND SECTION 2 OF THE CHARITIES ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 2008.
