THE OBJECT OF THE CIO, TO BE CARRIED OUT FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT IN THE WORCESTER CITY AND SURROUNDING AREA, IS:TO PROMOTE SOCIAL INCLUSION AMONG PEOPLE WHO ARE REFUGEES AND ASYLUM SEEKERS, SOCIALLY EXCLUDED ON THE GROUNDS OF THEIR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC POSITION, BY PROMOTING AND/OR CO-ORDINATING, IN PARTNERSHIP WITH VOLUNTARY, COMMUNITY AND FAITH ORGANISATIONS, SERVICES AND FACILITIES DESIGNED TO RELIEVE NEED, PREVENT SUCH PEOPLE FROM BEING SOCIALLY EXCLUDED AND ASSIST THEM TO INTEGRATE INTO SOCIETY AND ADAPT TO LIFE WITHIN A NEW COMMUNITY AND CULTURE.
