THE OBJECTS ARE THE RELIEF OF NEED AND THE PRESERVATION AND PROTECTION OF HEALTH AND THE ADVANCEMENT OF GOOD HEALTH OF CHILDREN WITH CONGENITAL HEART DISEASE, THOSE IN INTENSIVE CARE AND THOSE RECOVERING FROM HEART SURGERY AND THEIR FAMILIES, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:-ALLEVIATING THE PHYSICAL, EMOTIONAL, AND FINANCIAL BURDENS FACED BY THESE FAMILIES;PROVIDING COMPREHENSIVE SUPPORT SERVICES THROUGH COLLABORATION WITH HEALTHCARE PROVIDERS;RAISING AWARENESS AND FOSTERING A COMMUNITY OF UNDERSTANDING AND SUPPORT; ANDFUNDING RESEARCH AND EDUCATIONAL INITIATIVES.NOTHING IN THIS CONSTITUTION SHALL AUTHORISE AN APPLICATION OF THE PROPERTY OF THE CIO FOR THE PURPOSES WHICH ARE NOT CHARITABLE IN ACCORDANCE WITH [SECTION 7 OF THE CHARITIES AND TRUSTEE INVESTMENT (SCOTLAND) ACT 2005] AND [SECTION 2 OF THE CHARITIES ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 2008].
