TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC INCLUDING ORGANISATIONS CORPORATIONS, SCHOOLS OR ANY ASSOCIATION, LOCAL AUTHORITY OR GOVERNMENTAL AGENCY OR PUBLIC BODY OR REPRESENTATIVE BODY IN: I) THE UNDERSTANDING OF RIVERS, RIVER CORRIDORS, WATER IMPOUNDMENTS INCLUDING THE FAUNA, FLORA AND ECONOMIC OR SOCIAL ACTIVITY, II) THE UNDERSTANDING OF RIVER CATCHMENT MANAGEMENT, III) THE NEED FOR AND BENEFITS OF CONSERVATION, PROTECTION, RESTORATION, AND IMPROVEMENT OF AQUATIC AND TERRESTRIAL ENVIRONMENT, IV) IN SUCH WAYS AS THE TRUSTEES MAY DETERMINE.
