THE OBJECT OF THE CIO (“THE OBJECT”) IS THE PREVENTION OR RELIEF OF POVERTY OF FAMILIES WITH DEPENDENT CHILDREN IN THE LONDON BOROUGH OF BROMLEY IN PARTICULAR, BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, BY: (1) PROVIDING NEW AND SECOND-HAND BABY- AND CHILD-RELATED CLOTHING AND EQUIPMENT AND ESSENTIAL HOUSEHOLD ITEMS TO FAMILIES IN NEED; (2) PROVIDING INFORMATION TO FAMILIES IN FINANCIAL HARDSHIP TO ENABLE THEM TO ACCESS SUPPORT AVAILABLE FROM OTHER CHARITIES AND ORGANISATIONS; AND (3) RAISING AWARENESS ABOUT THE LEVEL OF POVERTY IN THE LONDON BOROUGH OF BROMLEY AND THE IMPACT OF SUCH POVERTY ON THE LIVES OF CHILDREN AND THEIR PARENTS.
