THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO (OBJECTS) ARE, FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC, TO:(A) PROMOTE THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF MORTLAKE AND THE SURROUNDING AREA (THE AREA OF BENEFIT) WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF SEX OR OF POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS, OR OTHER OPINIONS BY ASSOCIATING THE LOCAL AUTHORITIES, VOLUNTARY ORGANISATIONS, VOLUNTEERS AND INHABITANTS IN A COMMON EFFORT TO ADVANCE EDUCATION AND TO PROVIDE FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR RECREATION AND LEISURE-TIME OCCUPATION WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE SAID INHABITANTS, INCLUDING (WITHOUT LIMITATION) THROUGH THE ESTABLISHMENT, MAINTENANCE AND OPERATION OF A COMMUNITY CENTRE WITHIN THE AREA OF BENEFIT; (B) PROMOTE THE MENTAL AND PHYSICAL HEALTH OF PERSONS RESIDENT IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT INCLUDING (WITHOUT LIMITATION) BY THE PROVISION, DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OF COUNSELLING, ADVICE AND SUPPORT; AND(C) PROMOTE SOCIAL INCLUSION BY WORKING WITH PEOPLE IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT WHO ARE SOCIALLY EXCLUDED ON THE GROUNDS OF THEIR YOUTH OR OLD AGE, ILL HEALTH (PHYSICAL OR MENTAL), SEX, RACE, DISABILITY, FINANCIAL HARDSHIP, UNEMPLOYMENT, ETHNIC ORIGIN AND/OR RELIGION OR BELIEF, AND TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF SUCH PEOPLE AND ASSIST THEM TO INTEGRATE INTO SOCIETY.
