TTHE OBJECTS OF THE CIO (THE “OBJECTS”) ARE, FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT:(1) TO PROMOTE THE HUMAN RIGHTS OF CHILDREN THROUGHOUT THE WORLD;(2) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN MATTERS RELATING TO THE HUMAN RIGHTS OF CHILDREN WORLDWIDE, INCLUDING BUT WITHOUT LIMITATION BY CARRYING OUT RESEARCH AND PUBLISHING AND DISSEMINATING THE USEFUL RESULTS OF SUCH RESEARCH, RAISING AWARENESS ABOUT ISSUES RELATING TO THE HUMAN RIGHTS OF CHILDREN, AND MONITORING COUNTRIES’ RATIFICATION OF INTERNATIONAL CONVENTIONS AND COMPLIANCE AT THE NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL LEVEL WITH CONVENTIONS, LAWS AND NORMS FOR THE PROTECTION OF THE HUMAN RIGHTS OF CHILDREN;(3) TO IMPROVE THE LIVES OF CHILDREN AROUND THE WORLD BY RELIEVING THE POVERTY, FINANCIAL HARDSHIP AND SUFFERING OF CHILDREN, PROMOTING THE HEALTH AND WELFARE OF CHILDREN AND ADVANCING THE DEVELOPMENT AND EDUCATION OF CHILDREN; AND(4) TO PROMOTE OR ADVANCE ANY CHARITABLE PURPOSE OR PURPOSES UNDER THE LAWS OF ENGLAND AND WALES IN CONNECTION WITH SUB-CLAUSES (1) TO (3) AS THE CHARITY TRUSTEES MAY FROM TIME TO TIME DETERMINE, IN PARTICULAR BUT WITHOUT LIMITATION FOR ANY PURPOSES OF STICHTING KIDSRIGHTS OR CONNECTED WITH STICHTING KIDSRIGHTS AND ITS ACTIVITIES (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE INTERNATIONAL CHILDREN’S PEACE PRIZE, THE STATE OF YOUTH PROGRAMME AND THE KIDSRIGHTS INDEX) THAT ARE CHARITABLE UNDER THE LAWS OF ENGLAND AND WALES.
