THE RELIEF OF VETERANS AND THEIR FAMILIES WHO ARE IN NEED BY REASON OF ILL-HEALTH, DISABILITY, OR OTHER DISADVANTAGE IN ORDER TO AID SUCH INDIVIDUALS IN RESETTLEMENT AND TRANSITION INTO CIVILIAN LIFE, AND TO PROMOTE THEIR MENTAL HEALTH THROUGH THE PROVISION OF ‘DEVELOPMENT TO DEPLOYMENT’ WORKSHOPS, EMPLOYABILITY WORKSHOPS, VETERAN FAMILY SUPPORT SERVICES, MENTAL-HEALTH AND RESILIENCE WORKSHOPS, AND THROUGH THE PROVISION OF LEISURE AND RECREATION FACILITIES AND HOLISTIC RETREATS TO AID SUCH INDIVIDUALS IN BUILDING THE CAPACITY TO INTEGRATE INTO SOCIETY.
