THE PROMOTION OF SOCIAL INCLUSION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT OF REFUGEES IN THE BROMSGROVE AND REDDITCH AREA WHO ARE SOCIALLY EXCLUDED ON THE GROUNDS OF THEIR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC POSITION, TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF SUCH PEOPLE, AND ASSIST THEM TO INTEGRATE INTO SOCIETY, BY PROVIDING:A) PRACTICAL SUPPORT AND FRIENDSHIP TO REFUGEES AND THEIR DEPENDENTS, FROM THEIR INITIAL ARRIVAL ONWARDS TO THEIR EVENTUAL INTEGRATION INTO BRITISH SOCIETY - THIS INCLUDES, BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO, HELP WITH DOMESTIC PRACTICALITIES, SUCH AS PURCHASING ITEMS FOR THE HOME AND GENERAL HOME IMPROVEMENTS, UNDERSTANDING CULTURAL NORMS IN THE UK AND DEALING WITH GOVERNMENT AND OTHER BUREAUCRACY;B) ADVANCING THE EDUCATION AND TRAINING OF REFUGEES AND THEIR DEPENDENTS IN NEED THEREOF SO AS TO ADVANCE THEM IN LIFE AND ASSIST IN THEIR REHABILITATION WITHIN A NEW COMMUNITY – THIS INCLUDES, BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO, THE PROVISION OF ENGLISH TEACHING BOTH IN PERSONAL AND CLASS SETTINGS;C) PRESERVING AND PROTECTING THEIR PHYSICAL AND MENTAL HEALTH OF REFUGEES AND THEIR DEPENDENTS, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT LIMITED TO ADVICE ON HOW TO ACCESS HEALTH SERVICES;D) PROVIDING FACILITIES FOR RECREATION OR OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE OF THOSE PERSONS WHO HAVE NEED OF SUCH FACILITIES BY REASON OF THEIR YOUTH, AGE, INFIRMITY OR DISABLEMENT, FINANCIAL HARDSHIP OR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES; ANDE) INFORMING AND EDUCATING THE PUBLIC ABOUT REFUGEES AND ASYLUM SEEKERS.NOTHING IN THIS CONSTITUTION SHALL AUTHORISE AN APPLICATION OF THE PROPERTY OF THE CIO FOR THE PURPOSES WHICH ARE NOT CHARITABLE IN ACCORDANCE WITH [SECTION 7 OF THE CHARITIES AND TRUSTEE INVESTMENT (SCOTLAND) ACT 2005] AND [SECTION 2 OF THE CHARITIES ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 2008].
