THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE, FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT:(1) TO ADVANCE THE ORTHODOX JEWISH FAITH IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PRINCIPLES AND TEACHINGS OF CHABAD BY FACILITATING RELIGIOUS, EDUCATIONAL, SOCIAL AND WELFARE ACTIVITIES FOR JEWISH PEOPLE THAT WILL BUILD AND DEVELOP A MEANINGFUL RELATIONSHIP TO THEIR JEWISH HERITAGE;(2) TO RELIEVE THE EFFECTS OF FINANCIAL HARDSHIP, SOCIAL EXCLUSION AND POOR HEALTH AMONG THE ELDERLY AND OTHER VULNERABLE OR SOCIALLY EXCLUDED GROUPS THROUGH ACTIVITIES THAT PROVIDE ASSISTANCE, SUPPORT AND INTEGRATION; AND(3) TO PROVIDE RELIEF TO THOSE IN NEED BY REASON OF YOUTH THROUGH RECREATIONAL AND OTHER ACTIVITIES THAT FOSTER SOCIAL COHESION AND RESPONSIBILITY, TEACH LIFE SKILLS, ENCOURAGE VOLUNTEERING AND BUILD CAPACITY.
