THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE:A) THE PROMOTION OF EQUALITY AND DIVERSITY FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT BY:I) PROMOTING ACTIVITIES TO FOSTER EQUALITY OF OPPORTUNITY FOR PEOPLE OF AFRICAN AND CARIBBEAN DESCENT (WITH A FOCUS ON WOMEN AND THOSE WHO IDENTIFY AS NON-BINARY AND GENDERFLUID) IN THE AMATEUR SPORT OF RUGBY; ANDIII) WORKING TO SUPPORT THE ELIMINATION OF DISCRIMINATION, AND TO CULTIVATE A SENTIMENT IN FAVOUR OF EQUALITY AND DIVERSITY, IN THE AMATEUR SPORT OF RUGBY IN SUCH WAYS AS THE TRUSTEES MAY THINK FIT;B) TO ASSIST IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES TO PARTICIPATE IN THE AMATEUR SPORT OF RUGBY IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR INDIVIDUALS OF BLACK AFRICAN AND BLACK CARIBBEAN DESCENT WHO HAVE NEED OF SUCH FACILITIES BY REASON OF THEIR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE.IN FURTHERANCE OF THE ABOVE PURPOSE, THE CHARITY WILL MAKE GRANTS OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO PLAYERS, COACHES, REFEREES OR VOLUNTEERS:I) TO PURCHASE ESSENTIAL KIT AND EQUIPMENT; II) TO FUND CLUB SUBSCRIPTIONS, TRAVEL TO MATCHES, TRAINING, EVENTS, FEES FOR COACHING OR REFEREEING COURSES/QUALIFICATIONS AND OTHER ESSENTIAL RUGBY-RELATED EXPENSES THAT REMOVE BARRIERS TO ACCESS AND PARTICIPATION.
