3.1 THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE, FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT: 3.1.1 TO PRESERVE AND MAINTAIN THE HISTORIC AND ARCHITECTURAL FEATURES OF HEATHERSLAW MILL (AS DEFINED IN SCHEDULE 1), INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO: (A) MAINTAINING THE CORN MILL AND ASSOCIATED BUILDINGS AT HEATHERSLAW MILL IN GOOD AND SUBSTANTIAL REPAIR AND CONDITION AND RESTORING AND REPLACING THE SAME RESPECTIVELY WHEN AND SO OFTEN AS MAY BE REQUIRED; (B) MAINTAINING THE CORN MILL AT HEATHERSLAW MILL AS A MUSEUM FOR THE GENERAL PUBLIC; AND (C) ALL SUCH WORKS AND THINGS AS MAY IN THE OPINION OF THE CHARITY TRUSTEES BE FROM TIME TO TIME NECESSARY FOR THE PURPOSES AFORESAID OR ANY OF THEM AND IN EXECUTING THE TRUSTS AND POWERS HEREIN CONTAINED; AND 3.1.2 TO ADVANCE EDUCATION IN THE HISTORY AND PROCESSES OF TRADITIONAL MILLING AND TO ADVANCE CULTURE AND HERITAGE BY PROMOTING THE CULTURAL, HISTORIC, ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL SIGNIFICANCE OF TRADITIONAL FORMS OF MILLING.
