FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, TO FURTHER SUCH GENERAL CHARITABLE PURPOSES ACCORDING TO THE LAWS OF ENGLAND AND WALES AS THE TRUSTEES MAY IN THEIR ABSOLUTE DISCRETION DETERMINE, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE RELIEF OF POVERTY, UNEMPLOYMENT AND SICKNESS AND THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION IN SOCIALLY OR ECONOMICALLY DISADVANTAGED COMMUNITIES BY:- - OPERATING A TIME BANK THAT SUPPORTS A WIDE RANGE OF CHARITIES WITHIN THE UK AND INTERNATIONALLY (ENCOURAGING AND PROMOTING THE PRACTICE OF TRADING TIME);- DEVELOPING THE CAPACITY, SKILLS, AND CONFIDENCE OF INDIVIDUALS IN SOCIALLY AND ECONOMICALLY DISADVANTAGED COMMUNITIES SO THEY MAY BETTER IDENTIFY AND MEET THEIR NEEDS AND PARTICIPATE MORE FULLY IN SOCIETY;- INCREASING PUBLIC PARTICIPATION IN MEANINGFUL VOLUNTEERING, ENGAGING PEOPLE OF ALL AGES AND BACKGROUNDS TO CONTRIBUTE TO CHARITABLE CAUSES;- ENHANCING THE CAPACITY OF CHARITIES, WHILE PROMOTING PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT, SOCIAL INCLUSION, AND A STRONGER, MORE CONNECTED CIVIL SOCIETY;- ASSISTING AND ENABLING CHARITIES IN STRENGTHENING THEIR FUNDRAISING EFFORTS FOR CHARITABLE PURPOSES; - INFORMING, GUIDING, AND SUPPORTING INDIVIDUALS WILLING TO UNDERTAKE VOLUNTARY SERVICE; - ADVISING AND ASSISTING ORGANISATIONS THAT WORK WITH VOLUNTEERS; - PROMOTING GOOD CITIZENSHIP, COMMUNITY COHESION, AND ACTIVE CIVIC PARTICIPATION.
