THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE:(1). THE ADVANCEMENT OF EQUALITY AND DIVERSITY BETWEEN MEN AND WOMEN, FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT BY:(A) ADVANCING EDUCATION AND RAISING AWARENESS ON EQUALITY AND DIVERSITY;(B) CONDUCTING OR COMMISSIONING RESEARCH ON EQUALITY AND DIVERSITY ISSUES AND PUBLISHING THE RESULTS TO THE PUBLIC;(C) CULTIVATING A SENTIMENT IN FAVOUR OF EQUALITY AND DIVERSITY;(D) REDRESSING THE COMPARATIVE DISADVANTAGE EXPERIENCED BY MEN AND BOYS THROUGH IMPROVING THE HEALTH AND WELLBEING OF, AND REDUCING THE RISK AND INCIDENCE OF SUICIDE TO, MEN AND BOYS.(2.) THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION, FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, ON THE LIVES AND WELLBEING OF BOYS AND MEN BY:(A) COMMISSIONING, CONDUCTING AND PROMOTING RESEARCH ACTIVITIES TO FOSTER UNDERSTANDING OF ISSUES SUCH AS EDUCATION, EMPLOYMENT, HEALTH, HOUSING, FATHERHOOD, SUICIDE, SOCIAL EXCLUSION AND CRIMINAL ENGAGEMENT, INCLUDING WHERE THEY INTERSECT WITH PROTECTED CHARACTERISTICS UNDER THE EQUALITY ACT 2010;(B) DESIGNING PROGRAMMES, PUBLISHING INFORMATION, AND RAISING AWARENESS THROUGH EVENTS, MEDIA, AND OTHER CHANNELS TO DISSEMINATE EDUCATIONAL FINDINGS AND IMPROVE PUBLIC KNOWLEDGE;(C) ENCOURAGING UNDERSTANDING OF GENDER-RELATED CUSTOMS AND PRACTICES, PARTICULARLY THOSE THAT CONTRIBUTE TO INEQUALITY, AS PART OF THE CHARITYβS EDUCATIONAL DISSEMINATION STRATEGY.
