THE OBJECTS OF THE CHARITY ARE FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT AND SPECIFICALLY RESTRICTED TO:2.1 THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE ROMAN CATHOLIC RELIGION BY MAINTAINING, DEVELOPING AND SHARING THE MUSICAL TRADITION OF WESTMINSTER CATHEDRAL AND, IN PARTICULAR, ITS CHORAL TRADITION;2.2 THE PROMOTION OF THE ART AND SCIENCE OF CHORAL AND SACRED MUSIC AT WESTMINSTER CATHEDRAL; 2.3 SUCH OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSES UNDER THE LAWS OF ENGLAND AND WALES AS THE TRUSTEES SHALL, FROM TIME TO TIME, THINK FIT;PROVIDED THAT NOTHING IN THIS DEED SHALL AUTHORISE AN APPLICATION OF THE PROPERTY OR FUNDS OF THE CHARITY FOR PURPOSES THAT ARE, IN THE OPINION OF THE ARCHBISHOP, CONTRARY TO THE RELIGIOUS DOCTRINES AND PRACTICES OF THE ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH.
