THE OBJECT OF THE CIO ISTHE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS TO ACT AS A RESOURCE FOR YOUNG PEOPLE AGED 16 TO 24 WITH ANINTEREST IN MUSIC PRODUCTION, PARTICULARLY THOSE WHO FACE BARRIERS TO ACCESSINGHIGH-QUALITY CREATIVE EDUCATION, INCLUDING (BUT NOT LIMITED TO) INDIVIDUALS FROM MINORITYETHNIC BACKGROUNDS, WOMEN AND GENDER-DIVERSE INDIVIDUALS, DISABLED PEOPLE ANDTHOSE WHO ARE NEURODIVERGENT LIVING IN THE UK BY PROVIDING MENTORING ADVICE,EDUCATION AND ASSISTANCE AND ORGANISING PROGRAMMES OF EDUCATIONAL AND OTHERACTIVITIES AS A MEANS OF:(A) ADVANCING IN LIFE AND HELPING YOUNG PEOPLE BY DEVELOPING THEIR SKILLS, CAPACITIESAND CAPABILITIES TO ENABLE THEM TO PARTICIPATE IN SOCIETY AS INDEPENDENT, MATURE ANDRESPONSIBLE INDIVIDUALS;(B) ADVANCING EDUCATION; AND(C) RELIEVING UNEMPLOYMENT.NOTHING IN THIS CONSTITUTION SHALL AUTHORISE AN APPLICATION OF THE PROPERTYOF THE CIO FOR THE PURPOSES WHICH ARE NOT CHARITABLE IN ACCORDANCE WITH[SECTION 7 OF THE CHARITIES AND TRUSTEE INVESTMENT (SCOTLAND) ACT 2005]AND [SECTION 2 OF THE CHARITIES ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 2008].
