THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS:THE RELIEF OF THOSE IN NEED AND THE PROMOTION OF SOCIAL INCLUSION OF INDIVIDUALS WITH SPECIAL EDUCATIONAL NEEDS (SEN), INCLUDING SPEECH, LANGUAGE, AND COMMUNICATION NEEDS (SLCN), AUTISM, AND OTHER COMPLEX LEARNING NEEDS, LIVING IN EPSOM, SURREY AND THE SURROUNDING AREA, FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT BY PREVENTING SUCH PEOPLE FROM BECOMING SOCIALLY EXCLUDED AND ASSISTING THEM TO INTEGRATE INTO SOCIETY, BY:1) PROVIDING RECREATIONAL AND OTHER SOCIAL ACTIVITIES IN THE INTEREST OF SOCIAL WELFARE WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THEIR CONDITION OF LIFE.2) PROVIDING RESPITE SERVICES AND PRACTICAL ASSISTANCE AS NEEDED, GIVING FAMILIES AND CAREGIVERS TIME TO THEMSELVES TO ATTEND TO PERSONAL NEEDS AND MANAGE PERSONAL TASKS.3) PROMOTING AWARENESS OF SUCH CONDITIONS IN ORDER TO IMPROVE UNDERSTANDING, TOLERANCE AND ACCEPTANCE OF ALL INDIVIDUALS WITH SUCH CONDITIONS IN THE WIDER COMMUNITY.
