THE OBJECT OF THE CIO:FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, TO PROMOTE THE REHABILITATION AND RESETTLEMENT OF PRISON LEAVERS, FROM A RANGE OF FAITH COMMUNITIES, IN THE MERSEYSIDE REGION, BY DEVELOPING AND MAINTAINING A MULTI-FAITH INFRASTRUCTURE WHICH SUPPORTS THOSE LEAVING PRISON SO THAT SUCH PEOPLE ARE INTEGRATED INTO SOCIETY TO LEAD LAW-ABIDING LIVES, BY SUCH MEANS AS THE TRUSTEES THINK FIT, INCLUDING THE PROVISION OF MENTORING, ADVICE, PRACTICAL SUPPORT, TRAINING AND ENSURING THAT PRISON LEAVERS HAVE ACCESS TO AND CAN PRACTISE THEIR FAITH IN THE COMMUNITY BY BUILDING AND ENHANCING PARTNERSHIPS WITH FAITH LEADERS, ORGANISATIONS AND PROBATION SERVICES.
