THE ELIMINATION OF DISCRIMINATION ON THE GROUNDS OF RACE OR SPECIAL EDUCATIONAL NEEDS OR DISABILITIES (SEND); II. ADVANCING EDUCATION AND RAISING AWARENESS IN EQUALITY AND DIVERSITY; III. PROMOTING ACTIVITIES TO FOSTER UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN PEOPLE FROM DIVERSE BACKGROUNDS; IV. PROVIDING EDUCATION, COUNSELLING, RESOURCES AND SUPPORT TO THOSE AFFECTED BY DISCRIMINATION;V. PROVIDING LEGAL ADVOCACY AND SUPPORT FOR THOSE WHO MAY NOT BE ABLE TO AFFORD IT THROUGH LACK OF MEANS; VI. CONDUCTING OR COMMISSIONING RESEARCH ON EQUALITY AND DIVERSITY ISSUES AND PUBLISHING THE RESULTS TO THE PUBLIC; VII. CULTIVATING A SENTIMENT IN FAVOUR OF EQUALITY AND DIVERSITY. 2) TO ADVANCE EDUCATION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, IN GHANA, NIGERIA AND JAMAICA BY: • PROVIDING AND ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES AND RESOURCES FOR EDUCATION, SUCH AS BASIC SCHOOL SUPPLIES; • THE PROVISION OF WORKSHOPS AND MENTORING PROGRAMMES.
