TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF INDIVIDUALS, THEIR FAMILIES, CARERS AND PEOPLE LIVING WITH MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS AND RELATED NEUROLOGICAL CONDITIONS BY PROVIDING ACCESS TO PEER SUPPORT NETWORKS, ALTERNATIVE THERAPIES, AND WELLBEING SERVICES THAT IMPROVE QUALITY OF LIFE FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT IN RETFORD, BASSETLAW AND SURROUNDING AREAS BY:1) PROMOTING HOLISTIC APPROACHES TO HEALTH BY ALLOWING ACCESS TO COMPLEMENTARY AND ALTERNATIVE THERAPIES, WORKSHOPS, AND EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES THAT EMPOWER INDIVIDUALS TO MANAGE SYMPTOMS AND ENHANCE PHYSICAL AND MENTAL WELLBEING. 2) ESTABLISHING AND MAINTAINING PEER-LED SUPPORT AND COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES THAT REDUCE ISOLATION, FOSTER RESILIENCE, AND ENCOURAGE MUTUAL AID AMONG THOSE AFFECTED BY MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS. 3) ADVANCING PUBLIC UNDERSTANDING OF MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS AND THE BENEFITS OF PEER SUPPORT AND ALTERNATIVE THERAPIES THROUGH INFORMATION CAMPAIGNS AND COLLABORATION WITH HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONALS. 4) PROMOTING SOCIAL INCLUSION BY CREATING SAFE, ACCESSIBLE SPACES WHERE INDIVIDUALS WITH MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS, THEIR FAMILIES, AND CARERS CAN CONNECT, SHARE EXPERIENCES, AND PARTICIPATE IN SUPPORTIVE COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES. 5) RELIEVING THE STRESS AND HARDSHIP EXPERIENCED BY CARERS AND FAMILY MEMBERS OF PEOPLE WITH MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS BY PROVIDING GUIDANCE, RESPITE OPPORTUNITIES AND EMOTIONAL SUPPORT.
