THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO TO BE CARRIED OUT FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT IN THE AREA COVERED BY THE WA12 POSTCODE DISTRICT, ARE:(1) TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF WOMEN WHO ARE EXPERIENCING, OR WHO HAVE EXPERIENCED, OR WHO ARE AT RISK OF, DOMESTIC ABUSE, INCLUDING THEIR CHILDREN, BY:(A) PROVIDING COUNSELLING, ADVICE, INFORMATION, ADVOCACY, EMOTIONAL AND PRACTICAL SUPPORT, REFUGE ACCOMMODATION AND REFERRALS TO SPECIALIST SERVICES TO PROMOTE THE HEALTH, SAFETY AND RECOVERY OF SUCH BENEFICIARIES; AND(B) RAISING AWARENESS OF DOMESTIC ABUSE AND THE SUPPORT AVAILABLE THROUGH TRAINING, OUTREACH AND EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES.(2) THE PREVENTION AND RELIEF OF POVERTY BY THE PROVISION OF A FOOD BANK AND COMMUNITY KITCHEN FOR INDIVIDUALS IN FINANCIAL NEED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WOMEN WHO ARE EXPERIENCING, OR WHO HAVE EXPERIENCED, OR WHO ARE AT RISK OF, DOMESTIC ABUSE AND THEIR CHILDREN.
