THE CHARITY'S OBJECTS (OBJECTS) ARE SPECIFICALLY RESTRICTED TO THE FOLLOWING:TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF PUPILS BY THE CARRYING ON AND DEVELOPMENT OF THE LONDON ORPHAN ASYLUM (REED'S SCHOOL), RIPLEY COURT SCHOOL AND FELTONFLEET SCHOOL (THE "SCHOOLS") AND BY THE ACQUISITION, CARRYING ON AND DEVELOPMENT OF ANY BOARDING OR DAY SCHOOL OR SCHOOLS WITHIN THE UNITED KINGDOM; IN SELECTING PUPILS FOR THE SCHOOLS, PREFERENCE SHALL BE GIVEN TO PUPILS IN THE FOLLOWING CATEGORIES:-(A) THOSE WHO HAVE LOST, OR LOST THE SUPPORT OF, ONE OR MORE PARENTS; OR(B) THOSE WHO HAVE BEEN ABANDONED BY THEIR PARENTS OR GUARDIANS; OR(C) THOSE FROM SINGLE PARENT FAMILIES WHOSE HOME LIFE IS FOR ANY REASON UNSTABLE, UNHAPPY OR OTHERWISE UNSATISFACTORY;AND WHO MAY BE IN NEED OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE.
