THE TRUSTEES SHALL APPLY THE INCOME OF THE CHARITY AS FOLLOWS:(1) AS TO A SUM OF ú80 THEREOF OR SUCH OTHER SUM AS THE CHARITY COMMISSIONERS MAY FROM TIME TO TIME APPROVE IN RELIEVING IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS FOR RELIEF IN NEED HEREINAFTER CONTAINED PERSONS RESIDENT IN THE AREA OF THE ANCIENT PARISH OF ASHTEAD WHO ARE MEMBERS OF THE CHURCH OF ENGLAND WHO ARE IN CONDITIONS OF NEED, HARDSHIP OR DISTRESS.(2) AS TO THE REMAINDER THEREOF IN RELIEVING IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS FOR RELIEF IN NEED HEREAFTER CONTAINED PERSONS RESIDENT IN THE SAID AREA WHO ARE IN CONDITIONS OF NEED, HARDSHIP OR DISTRESS.
