(2) IF AND IN SO FAR AS THE INCOME OF THE SAID SOCIETY CANNOT BE APPLIED TOWARDS THE OBJECTS ABOVE, IT MAY BE APPLIED FOR THE RELIEF OF WOMEN WHO ARE IN NEED, HARDSHIP OR DISTRESS IN PLYMOUTH AND THE SURROUNDING AREA.
