Charitable objects

(i) The prevention or relief of poverty in the parishes of Frilsham and Yattendon in West Berkshire (the "Beneficial Area") by providing grants, items and services to individuals in need and/or charities, or other organisations working to prevent or relieve poverty.(ii) To relieve the poverty of young people by the provision of grants to enable them to participate in healthy recreational activities and other extra-curricular activities that they could not otherwise afford.(iii) To relieve financial hardship, sickness and poor health amongst elderly people.(iv) To relieve elderly people resident in the Beneficial Area who are in need, by providing grants, items, services or facilities calculated to relieve the needs of such persons.(v) To provide or assist in the provision of facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation or other leisure time occupation of individuals who have need of such facilities by reason of their youth, age, infirmity or disability, financial hardship or social circumstances with the object of improving their conditions of life.(vi) To advance the education of the pupils at Yattendon C of E Primary School by providing and assisting in the provision of facilities [not required to be provided by the local education authority] for education at the school.
