THE OBJECTS OF THE CHARITY SHALL BE: (1) TO PROVIDE AND TO CARRY ON A HOME OR HOMES FOR THE RECEPTION OF TEMPORARY ACCOMMODATION OF HOMELESS POOR PERSONS, NOT BEING HABITUAL VAGRANTS, IN LONDON. (2) TO ASSIST PERSONS ADMITTED INTO THE HOME OR HOMES IN OBTAINING OR IN SEEKING TO OBTAIN, EMPLOYMENT OR OTHERWISE TO BECOME SELF-SUPPORTING (3) TO PROMOTE GENERALLY THE SPIRITUAL AND PHYSICAL WELFARE OF PERSONS ADMITTED TO THE HOME OR HOMES AND TO ASSIST THEM TO MAKE A FRESH START IN LIFE. PROVIDED THAT IN PROMOTING THE FOREGOING OBJECTS THE TRUSTEES SHALL HAVE REGARD TO THE PRINCIPLES AND DOCTRINES OF THE CHURCH OF ENGLAND
