SUBJECT TO THE PAYMENTS AFORESAID, THE TRUSTEES SHALL APPLY THE INCOME OF THE CHARITIES AS THEY THINK FIT FOR THE BENEFIT OF THOSE LIVING IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT THAT ARE IN NEED, AND IN PARTICULAR (WITHOUT LIMITATION), IN ONE OF THE FOLLOWING WAYS BY PROVIDING:-(A) STIPENDS FOR OLDER PERSONS OF STATE PENSION AGE LIVING IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT MEETING THE CRITERIA DETERMINED FROM TIME TO TIME BY THE TRUSTEES; AND/OR(B) FINANCIAL HARDSHIP GRANTS, BY REFERRAL FROM PUBLIC OR VOLUNTARY ORGANISATIONS IN THE UNITED KINGDOM, FOR ADULTS (OVER 18 YEAR OLDS) MEETING THE HARDSHIP CRITERIA DETERMINED BY THE TRUSTEES, TOWARDS ESSENTIAL REPLACEMENT HOUSEHOLD ITEMS AND EQUIPMENT; AND/OR(C) GRANTS TO CHARITABLE ORGANISATIONS AND NOT FOR PROFIT ORGANISATIONS, AS DETERMINED BY THE TRUSTEES FROM TIME TO TIME, WHO PROMOTES OR HELPS TO PROMOTE THE CHARITY’S CHARITABLE OBJECTS AND WHO IN TURN PROVIDES SERVICES AND INITIATIVES FOR RESIDENTS AND FOR COMMUNITIES THAT ARE IN NEED; AND/OR(D) ANY OTHER MEANS AS THE TRUSTEES CONSIDER NECESSARY TO PREVENT OR RELIEVE POVERTY FOR THOSE LIVING IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT.
