(1) IN OR TOWARDS DEFRAYING THE CHARGES PROPERLY INCURRED BY THE PAROCHIAL CHURCH COUNCIL OF THE SAID ECCLESIASTICAL PARISH OF ST NICOLAS, NEWBURY, IN RESPECT OF THE CARE, MAINTENANCE, PRESERVATION AND INSURANCE OF THE FABRIC OF THE PARISH CHURCH OF THE SAID ECCLESIASTICAL PARISH AND THE CHURCHYARD GATES, WALLS, BELLS AND ORGAN IN THE SAID PARISH CHURCH AND THE HEATING OF THE SAID PARISH CHURCH; (2) FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE RESIDENTS IN THE ALMSHOUSES OF THE CHARITY OR ANY OF THEM IN SUCH MANNER AS THE TRUSTEES THINK FIT FROM TIME TO TIME; (3) FOR RELIEF IN NEED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS HEREINAFTER CONTAINED; PROVIDED THAT IF AN IN SO FAR AS IN ANY YEAR INCOME IS NOT REQUIRED FOR APPLICATION AS AFORESAID THE TRUSTEES SHALL APPLY THE SAME FOR SUCH CHAARITABLE PURPOSES FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF THE AREA OF BENEFIT AS THE TRUSTEES SHALL FROM TIME TO TIME THINK FIT.
