1.1 The charity’s objects (“Objects”) are specifically restricted to the following:1.1.1 The promotion, diffusion and development of the knowledge and love of the fine arts, including but not limited to painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, photography, film, digital and other new media, through the financial support of the acquisition of such works for the residents and visitors of the city of Birmingham, exhibited free of charge, as the directors shall, in their absolute discretion, think most convenient and effectual for the attainment of the object. 1.2 Whether or not a piece of art will constitute “fine art” as referred to in article 1.1.1 above, will be for the directors in their absolute discretion to determine.
