(B) SUCH CHARITABLE PURPOSES FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE RESIDENTS AS THE TRUSTEES DECIDE.(2) THE RELIEF OF PERSONS RESIDENT IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT WHO ARE IN NEED, HARDSHIP OR DISTRESS BY MAKING GRANTS OF MONEY TO THEM INCLUDING GRANTING PENSIONS. (3) THE TRUSTEE MAY APPLY PERMANENT ENDOWMENT FOR THE PURCHASE OF FREEHOLD PROPERTY TO BE APPROPRIATED AND USED AS ALMSHOUSES, ADMINISTERED AND MANAGED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS IN THE SCHEDULE TO THIS SCHEME.
