TO ASSIST ORGANISTS, WHETHER ACTIVE OR RETIRED, OR THEIR WIVES, WIDOWS, CHILDREN OR DEPENDANTS, WHO ARE IN FINANCIAL NEED. TO QUALIFY FOR ASSISTANCE, THE ORGANIST MUST HAVE BEEN AT LEAST FOR AN AGGREGATE OF TWO YEARS A SUBSCRIBING MEMBER OF ONE OF THE ORGANISTS’ ASSOCIATION OR SOCIETIES AFFILIATED TO THE INCORPORATED ASSOCIATION OF ORGANISTS (‘THE IAO’). THE ASSISTANCE MAY BE IN THE FORM OF A SINGLE OR REGULAR PAYMENTS AND/OR BONUSES OF AN AMOUNT TO BE DETERMINED BY THE TRUSTEES OR, AT THE DISCRETION OF THE TRUSTEES, OF GRANTS TOWARDS THE COST OF ORGAN TUITION AND/OR EXAMINATION FEE FOR DEPENDANTS WHO, AT THE TIME OF THE AWARD HAVE NOT PASSED THEIR TWENTY-FIFTH BIRTHDAY.
