THE PROMOTION OF EDUCATION, RELIEF IN NEED AND THE UPKEEP AND MAINTENANCE OF THE FABRIC OF THE PARISH CHURCH IN NORTH LUFFENHAM IN THE FOLLOWING WAYS: (1) ONE QUARTER OF THE INCOME OF THE CHARITY SHALL BE APPLIED FOR THE PURPOSE OF: (A) PROMOTING THE EDUCATION OF PERSONS WHO ARE IN NEED OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE AND WHOSE PRIMARY RESIDENCE IS IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT, AND (B) PROVIDING ITEMS SERVICES AND FACILITIES FOR SCHOOLS IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT. (2) ONE HALF OF THE INCOME OF THE CHARITY SHALL BE APPLIED: (A) FOR THE RELIEF OF PERSONS WHO ARE IN NEED HARDSHIP OR DISTRESS; AND ARE RESIDENT IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT (B) THE TRUSTEES MAY RELIEVE PERSONS IN NEED BY: (I) MAKING GRANTS OF MONEY TO THEM, OR (II) PROVIDING OR PAYING FOR GOODS, SERVICES OR FACILITIES FOR THEM; OR (III) MAKING GRANTS OF MONEY TO OTHER PERSONS OR BODIES WHO PROVIDE GOODS, SERVICES OR FACILITIES FOR THOSE IN NEED. (C) THE TRUSTEES MAY, AT THEIR DISCRETION, ASSIST SOMEONE (WHO IS OTHERWISE QUALIFIED) WHO IS: (I) RESIDENT OUTSIDE THE AREA OF BENEFIT; OR (II) ONLY TEMPORARILY RESIDENT IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT. (3) ONE QUARTER OF THE INCOME OF THE CHARITY SHALL BE PAID BY THE TRUSTEES TO THE CHURCHWARDENS OF THE PARISH CHURCH OF NORTH LUFFENHAM FOR THE PURPOSES OF THE UPKEEP AND REPAIR OF THE FABRIC OF THE CHURCH AND MAINTENANCE OF THE SERVICES THEREIN. THE CHURCHWARDENS MAY INVEST ANY MONIES NOT REQUIRED FOR THIS PURPOSE IN ANY ONE YEAR IN A SEPARATE FUND ENTITLED CHURCH REPAIR AND IMPROVEMENT FUND. (4) IF AND IN SO FAR AS THE INCOME CANNOT BE APPLIED FOR THE ABOVE OBJECTS THE TRUSTEES MAY APPLY IT TOWARDS SUCH CHARITABLE PURPOSES FOR THE GENERAL BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF THE AREA OF BENEFIT AS THEY THINK FIT.
