OBJECTS OF THE CHARITY(1) THE OBJECTS OF THE CHARITY ARE:(A) THE RELIEF OF POVERTY BY THE PROVISION OF SOCIAL HOUSING IN THE FORM OF ALMSHOUSE ACCOMMODATION FOR THE BENEFICIARIES SUBJECT TO SUB-CLAUSE 4 (3) BELOW; AND(B) SUCH CHARITABLE PURPOSES FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE RESIDENTS AS THE TRUSTEES DECIDE.(2) SUBJECT TO THE PROVISIONS OF CLAUSE 5 (POWER TO DISPOSE OF AND REPLACE PURPOSE PROPERTY), THE LAND IDENTIFIED IN PART 1 OF THE SCHEDULE TO THIS SCHEME MUST BE RETAINED BY THE TRUSTEE FOR USE FOR THE OBJECTS OF THE CHARITY.(3) THE TRUSTEE MUST RETAIN 6 OF THE CHARITY’S ACCOMMODATION UNITS FOR USE BY BENEFICIARIES WHO ARE SINGLE WOMEN. “BENEFICIARIES” MEANS POOR PERSONS WITH A PREFERENCE FOR PERSONS OF 50 YEARS OF AGE OR OVER.
