(1) SUBJECT TO PAYMENT OF THE EXPENSES AFORESAID THE TRUSTEES SHALL APPLY THE INCOME OF THE CHARITY IN ONE OR BOTH OF THE FOLLOWING WAYS:- (A) IN FURTHERING THE RELIGIOUS AND OTHER CHARITABLE WORK OF THE CHURCH OF ENGLAND IN THE AREA OF THE ECCLESIASTICAL PARISHES OF ST CUTHBERT, HOLME CULTRAM, ST MARY HOLME CULTRAM AND CHRIST CHURCH WITH ST PAUL SILLOTH. (B) IN RELIEVING IN CASES OF NEED PERSONS RESIDENT IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT WHO ARE SICK, CONVALESCENT, DISABLED, HANDICAPPED OR INFIRM. (2) IF AND IN SO FAR AS THE INCOME OF THE CHARITY IS NOT REQUIRED FOR USE AS AFORESAID THE TRUSTEES MAY APPLY THE SAME FOR THE BENEFIT OF SUCH CHARITIES AS THEY THINK FIT.
