THE OBJECTS OF THE SOCIETY SHALL BE TO PROMOTE THE FOLLOWING:A) TO ENCOURAGE HIGH STANDARDS OF ARCHITECTURE AND PLANNING IN HADDENHAM.B) TO MAKE REPRESENTATIONS TO ANY PLANNING AUTHORITY REGARDING PLANS THAT MAY HAVE AN EFFECT ON THE INFRASTRUCTURE AND CHARACTER OF HADDENHAM.C) TO STIMULATE PUBLIC INTEREST IN, AND CARE FOR, THE BEAUTY, HISTORY AND CHARACTER OF THE AREA OF THE VILLAGE, AND ITS SURROUNDINGS.D) TO ENCOURAGE THE PRESERVATION, DEVELOPMENT AND IMPROVEMENT OF FEATURES OF GENERAL PUBLIC AMENITY AND HISTORIC INTEREST.E) TO ENCOURAGE THOSE GROUPS WITHIN THE VILLAGE WHICH HAVE BEEN SET UP TO PROVIDE SOCIAL, SPORTING, INTELLECTUAL AND CARING ACTIVITIES FOR THE VILLAGE. F) TO ENCOURAGE NEW SOCIETIES WHICH PROVIDE FACILITIES WHICH BENEFIT SUB-GROUPS OF THE VILLAGE AND CO-ORDINATE THEM INTO THE LARGER FRAMEWORK OF GROUPS. G) TO PROMOTE THESE OBJECTS BY THE WAY OF MEETINGS, EXHIBITIONS, LECTURES, PUBLICATIONS, AND ANY OTHER MEANS OF PUBLICITY. H) TO MAKE NEWCOMERS AWARE OF THE GROUPS AND FACILITIES WHICH EXIST IN THE VILLAGE AND ARRANGE ACTIVITIES TO MAKE THEM FEEL WELCOME IN THE VILLAGE.
