TO RELIEVE FINANCIAL DISTRESS (A) BY THE ASSISTANCE AND RELIEF OF BAPTIST MINISTERS DEACONESSES AND FULL-TIME LAY PREACHERS IN NECESSITOUS CIRCUMSTANCES OF BAPTIST CHURCHES AFFILIATED TO THE EAST MIDLAND BAPTIST ASSOCIATIONS, PARTICULARLY IN CASES WHERE SUCH CIRCUMSTANCES ARISE THROUGH ACCIDENT OF INCAPACITY. (B) BY THE RELIEF OF WIDOWS, CHILDREN AND OTHER DEPENDENTS OF SUCH PERSONS, BEING IN NEED OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE PARTICULARLY WHERE SUCH NEED SHALL ARISE THROUGH ACCIDENT TO OR INCAPACITY OR DEATH OF SUCH PERSONS.
