(I) THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC BY THE RECORDING AND STUDY OF OBJECTS OF ORNITHOLOGICAL, BOTANICAL, SILVICULTURAL, GEOLOGICAL, ZOOLOGICAL, ARCHAEOLOGICAL, HISTORICAL OR SCIENTIFIC INTEREST AT DUNGENESS KENT AFORESAID AND IN OTHER PARTS OF THE BRITISH ISLES MORE PARTICULARLY IN THE COUNTY OF KENT. (II) THE CONSERVATION OF WILD LIFE BY THE ENCOURAGEMENT OF THE BREEDING OF WILD BIRDS, ANIMALS AND INSECTS WHICH ARE HARMLESS BEAUTIFUL OR LIKELY TO BECOME RARE AND TO PREVENT THE KILLING OF ANY SUCH WHICH ARE IN DANGER OF EXTINCTION OR SERIOUS DIMINUTION.
