4 OBJECTS THE OBJECTS FOR WHICH THE ASSOCIATION IS ESTABLISHED ARE: 4.1 THE RELIEF OF THOSE IN NEED, BY REASON OF YOUTH, AGE, ILL-HEALTH, DISABILITY OR FINANCIAL HARDSHIP BY PROVIDING SUITABLE HOUSING FOR PEOPLE IN HOUSING NEED. THE ASSOCIATION WILL HAVE A PARTICULAR FOCUS ON SUPPORTING THOSE PEOPLE IN HOUSING NEED WHO HAVE A DISABILITY, IMPAIRMENT, OR LONG-TERM HEALTH CONDITION TO LIVE INDEPENDENTLY AND AS ACTIVE PARTICIPANTS WITHIN THEIR COMMUNITIES. THE ASSOCIATION WILL DELIVER CARE, SUPPORT AND INTENSIVE HOUSING MANAGEMENT SERVICES TO SUPPORT INDEPENDENT LIVING AND SOCIAL INCLUSION, ENABLING PEOPLE TO HAVE CHOICE AND CONTROL OVER THEIR LIVES. THIS WILL BE ACHIEVED BY: 4.1.1 THE CONSTRUCTION, IMPROVEMENT OR MANAGEMENT OF HOUSING ACCOMMODATION FOR THOSE WHO ARE IN NEED THEREOF AND ANY ASSOCIATED AMENITIES SPECIALLY DESIGNED OR ADAPTED TO MEET THE DISABILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS OF SUCH PERSONS; 4.1.2 THE PROVISION OF CARE, SERVICES, ADVICE OR ASSISTANCE TO THOSE IN NEED THEREOF AND WITHOUT PREJUDICE TO THE GENERALITY OF THE FORGOING THE ARRANGEMENT AND CARRYING OUT OF WORKS OF IMPROVEMENT REPAIR OR MAINTENANCE TO HOUSES OCCUPIED BY THEM AND PROVISION OF ANY ASSOCIATED AMENITIES SPECIALLY DESIGNED OR ADAPTED TO MEET THE DISABILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS OF SUCH INDIVIDUALS. 4.2 TO SET UP HOMES FOR SUCH INDIVIDUALS AND TO PROVIDE FACILITIES TO ENABLE THEM TO PARTICIPATE IN TRAINING AND OTHER ACTIVITIES INCLUDING SUPPORT INTO EMPLOYMENT. 4.3. THE PROMOTION OF EQUALITY AND DIVERSITY FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, IN PARTICULAR THROUGH THE PROMOTION OF THE SOCIAL MODEL OF DISABILITY - EQUALITY, FAIRNESS AND RIGHTS FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE A DISABILITY; BY PARTICIPATING IN RESEARCH, DEVELOPMENT AND CAMPAIGNS PROMOTING EQUAL RIGHTS OF DISABLED PEOPLE, AND PROMOTING, ORGANISING, ARRANGING AND PARTICIPATING IN CONFERENCES AND MEETINGS ON SUBJECTS RELATING TO EQUALITIES FOR THOSE LIVING WITH A DISABILITY, IMPAIRMENT OR LONG-TERM HEALTH CONDITION.
