(1) THE PROVISION AND MAINTENANCE OF A COMMUNITY CENTRE FOR THE USE OF THE INHABITANTS OF LEIGH-ON-MENDIP AND THE SURROUNDING AREA;(2) TO PROVIDE OR ASSIST IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR RECREATION, TRAINING OR OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION OF INDIVIDUALS WHO HAVE NEED OF SUCH FACILITIES BY REASON OF THEIR YOUTH, OLD AGE, INFIRMITY OR DISABILITY, FINANCIAL HARDSHIP OR SOCIAL CIRCUMSTANCES WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE;(3) TO PROVIDE A RECREATION GROUND FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF THE PARISH OF LEIGH-ON-MENDIP AND THE SURROUNDING AREA; AND(4) TO UNDERTAKE THE PROTECTION AND PRESERVATION OF THE ENVIRONMENT AND TO PROMOTE SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC.SUBJECT TO CLAUSE 25, THE LAND IDENTIFIED IN PART 2 OF THE SCHEDULE TO THIS SCHEME MUST BE RETAINED BY THE COMMITTEE FOR USE FOR THE OBJECTS OF THE CHARITY.
