THE OBJECT OF THE CLUB SHALL BE TO PROMOTE THE STUDY AND PRACTICE OF HORTICULTURE, PARTICULARLY IN THE AREA. IN FURTHERANCE OF THIS OBJECT, THE CLUB SHALL HAVE THE FOLLOWING POWERS:- (A) TO ARRANGE CONFERENCES, LECTURES, DEMONSTRATIONS AND VISITS TO PLACES OF HORTICULTURAL INTEREST. (B) TO PROMOTE AN ANNUAL SHOW. (C) TO DO SUCH THINGS AS SHALL BE NECESSARY TO FURTHER THESE OBJECTS.
