The object of the committee shall be to promote the welfare of the aged by providing companionship, stimulation, activities and entertainment, provide transport for visiting restaurants, shopping, to and from weekly meeting and outings, in a manner which now is or hereafter may be deemed by law to be charitable in the parish of Porthleven and surrounding areas (hereinafter called 'the area of benefit').
