(A) THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION, THROUGH THE PROVISION OF PROGRAMMES OF PERSONAL AND SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT TO PEOPLE, AGED OVER 16 YEARS, BY THE PARTICIPATION IN COMMUNITY AND OUTDOOR-BASED EDUCATION, ADVENTURE ACTIVITIES AND LEARNING THEREBY ASSISTING IN DEVELOPING THEIR SKILLS, CAPACITIES AND CAPABILITIES TO OVERCOME DISADVANTAGE AND IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE (B) TO SUPPORT THE PREVENTION OF OFFENDING AND REHABILITATION OF INDIVIDUALS ADDRESSING THE UNDERLYING CAUSES OF OFFENDING AND ENABLE THEM TO BECOME RESPONSIBLE MEMBERS OF SOCIETY SO THAT THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE MAY BE IMPROVED (C) TO ASSIST PEOPLE, AGED OVER 16 YEARS, TO BENEFIT FROM FURTHER TRAINING OR EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE OR TO ENTER EMPLOYMENT (D) TO ASSIST AND ENCOURAGE PEOPLE, AGED 16 AND ABOVE, WHO HAVE NEED BY REASON OF THEIR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES, TO DEVELOP AN ABILITY TO PARTICIPATE IN SOCIETY AS MATURE AND RESPONSIBLE INDIVIDUALS.
