(IV) TO PROMOTE A HIGH STANDARD OF PLANNING AND ARCHITECTURE IN OR AFFECTING THE AREA OF BENEFIT AND TO OPPOSE ANY INAPPROPRIATE DEVELOPMENTS. (V)TO REPRESENT THE VIEWS OF THE SOCIETY TO LOCAL, COUNTY AND OTHER AUTHORITIES. (VI) TO INSURE, MAINTAIN, REPAIR AND KEEP IN WORKING ORDER, THE JUBILEE CLOCK AND ITS BELFRY. (VIII) TO HELP FOSTER LOCAL COMMUNITY SPIRIT, TO ARRANGE LECTURES AND SOCIAL EVENTS CONNECTED WITH THE AREA OF BENEFIT.
